57) Lake Montebello Tot Lot

We recently took a trip to the Lake Montebello Tot Lot Playground. Like some of the other playgrounds we have visited, the actual play equipment was not the main attraction at this playground, it was the views. Located right on Lake Montebello (which is at the intersection of Harford Road and 32nd Street) The playground has a great view of lake. We went early in the morning so we had the playground to our selves, although the paved trail around the lake was busy with people running, riding bikes and walking. The playground had plenty to keep the girls busy, slides, climbers and hanging bars just right for their size. After playing we took a little walk around the lake and checked out some of the fish. However the highlight for us was the large field and hill right  next to the playground. On the day we went the field was filled with buttercups and other wild flowers, that the girls could have spent all day roaming around, making bouquets and testing to see who likes butter. Did you ever do that when you were a kid?
