1) Color by Ella Doran, David Goodman and Zoe Miller

On one of our last trips to the library I saw this book and thought the cover was great(I know never judge a book by it's cover but this is a great cover) So I added it to our check-out stack. When we got it home and started looking at it both the girls and I were instantly in love. This book is beautiful. There are full pages spreads dedicated to each color, with engaging and surprising images. There is also information about color mixing, the color wheel and a few color related activities. The book is printed by the Tate and unfortunately from what I have been able to find online it seems to be out of print. However there are two other related books that I can't wait to read "Shape" and "A is for Artist." So in the meantime I am fighting the temptation to not return this book to the library and instead thinking about how someone else will discover it there and enjoy it as much as we have!
