53) Sidewalk Chalk and Water

Sidewalk chalk for us is the outdoor equivalent of play dough. We use it all the time and everyone loves it! For the past few summers our number one outdoor activity is playing with sidewalk chalk and water. If it's really hot we turn on the sprinkler and draw. On a less hot day we fill up our watering cans and draw. Either way the combination of water and chalk always looks so beautiful. The colors blend together like real watercolors and I love the lesson in temporary art.
