26) Inspiration: 20 Gifts Kids Can Make for Grown-ups

In the last few months we have started receiving an onslaught of holiday catalogs. Like most kids the Bee and Bean love getting all these catalogs and checking out all the cool toys inside. In the last few weeks I have been hearing a lot of "I wants" as they look at the catalog, and I while I know this a pretty normal kid thing to do, it worries me a little. I want to make sure the girls know that there is more to the holidays then just getting. So I want to spend the next few weeks with them focusing on giving. I thought I would start by finding some gifts the girls can make (with a little help for me) for the people in their lives. It is really important to me that they have a big part in making these gifts so that they take some ownership and feel like these gifts really came from them. So here are some ideas for presents that I think the girls could actually make and that the family and friends who receive them might really enjoy!

These "Just add water" Paperwhites seem easy enough for a kid to assemble and flowers are always a nice gift. (from Domaphile)

Granola is always a delicious present for anyone (Memetales)
