47) 34th Street Lights
Last night we took a quick detour on our way home to stop and see the lights on 34th Street. Located in Hampden, this block of 34th street is famous for it's lights. Every house has a different display and strings of lights run from rooftop to rooftop crossing the street. The displays are all different and totally uniquely Baltimore. A hubcap Christmas tree was one of the girls favorites. There is a full calendar on the website but essentially the lights go up the last week of November and are up till New Years daily from dusk until 10pm. We went early on a Monday evening and had no problem finding a spot to park, but I know it can get very crowded on weekends!
