49) Paint with Water


We have had this easel from Ikea for years and to be honest it doesn't get a lot of use. We do most of our painting at the kitchen table or upstairs. On the rare occasion someone will break out the chalk and draw a little but for the most part it just takes up a lot of space. The other day we were playing in the yard and the girls were getting bored so I suggested painting outside, something we have never really tried before. I went and got the easel, the brushes and water and brought them outside. I then went back to grab the paper and paint but came out to find the girls already busy painting. They spent a long time happily painting with just the water on the chalkboard and I never even got the paints, maybe another day...
