17) Inspiration: Ice Play

The temperatures here this week have been brutal in the upper 90's with a heat index of 105! While I love summer the hot, humid heat can be a lot, so this week I am looking for some cool play inspiration. We had a great time playing with colorful ice cubes this past winter, so I am thinking some more hot weather ice play might be just the thing to cool us down!

Things to make and do:
Ice Balls and Water Wall from Time for Play
Make your own icebergs from Familylicous
Ice Excavation from Counting Coconuts
Ice Sculptures with salt and liquid watercolors from The Artful Parent

Ice cube boats from El Hada de Papel
Ice cube necklace from Family Fun
Colorful Ice cube painting from The Outlaw Mom
Ice cube crayons from Craft
Ice cube color mixing from The Mother Huddle
Fruit ice cubes from Oh Sweet Babies
Rainbow ice pops from Cooking With My Kid
