9) Inspiration: Recycling

In honor of Earth Day, I posted this 47 recycling projects for kids. Through out the week I have seen so many amazing recycling projects around, I had to share some of them as this weeks inspirations!

Things to Make:
If you are looking for things to make with kids from the recycling bin there is no shortage of ideas at The Crafty Crow this week! Plastic Caps, Earth Day Crafts, Egg Cartons, Plastic Bottles are just a few of the lists of ideas to check out!

If you have some egg cartons around check Tinkerlab to see almost 70 ideas for fun egg carton projects

Check Here, Here and Here for even more ideas!

Things to Do:
Watch this video about an what one little boy can do with a little imagination and a lot of cardboard boxes!
We might have enough books to pull this off.

Books to Read: A few of our favorite recycling books for kids are The EARTH Book by Todd Parr and 10 Things I Can Do To Help My World by Melanie Walsh

Places to Go: Here are a few places we have been before that could be fun for Earth Day: Cylburn Arboretum , Irvine Nature Center, or The Stony Run Trail. Here are a few places I would like to go for Earth Day: The Recycling Center, Robert E. Lee, The Baltimore Farmers Market and Bazaar.
